Finance Transformation

What is the Finance Transformation?
Our Finance Transformation will standardise and simplify our processes. We are upgrading to a new SAP finance system, which will replace multiple finance systems that do not currently talk to each other.
Why are we doing it?
Our finance systems are increasingly inefficient, with too many manual and disparate processes and data. This transformation will provide consistent processes, trusted financial data and a single unified source, making work easier for you and for us.
Our Finance Transformation will deliver a more modern, cohesive and resilient finance function that supports the needs of the Co-op and makes a positive difference for suppliers, colleagues, members and communities.
When is this happening?
We are planning to start using the new system from Monday 7 July 2025. We will be working through a series of milestones in April and May and the outcome of those will enable us to give final confirmation of the go live date in mid-June.
How will it affect me?
How you are affected will depend on the current arrangements we have with you, and different suppliers will be affected in different ways. We will share more information soon about the changes and whether there are any actions you need to take.
